
Kuching City FC has been actively strengthening their squad with several key signings aimed at improving their performance in the Malaysia Super League.
Recent Signings:

Tchetche Kipre: In April 2024, the 36-year-old Liberian striker joined Kuching City FC, bringing with him a wealth of experience from previous stints with Terengganu FC, Kedah FC, and Kuala Lumpur City. Kipre has an impressive record of 66 goals in the M-League and is expected to bolster the team’s attacking capabilities.
Moses Atede: In September 2024, former Kedah Darul Aman midfielder Moses Atede signed with Kuching City FC. Atede, who previously played for Bahrain’s Sitra Club, is known for his ball retention skills and defensive midfield capabilities. His addition is anticipated to strengthen the team’s midfield.
Christopher Enting: Also in September 2024, Kuching City FC welcomed young striker Christopher Enting from the SUKMA Sarawak squad to their Under-23 team. His arrival is expected to provide additional options in the attacking lineup for the club’s future campaigns.
Performance Update:
On October 26, 2024, Kuching City FC ended a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over Kuala Lumpur City FC in a Super League match at the State Stadium in Kuching. Despite being reduced to ten men after red cards were issued to James Okwuosa and Kipre Tchetche in the second half, the team secured a much-needed win. Goals were scored by James Okwuosa (1st minute), Petrus Shitembi (extra time of the first half), and Kipre Tchetche (68th-minute penalty).
