Manor Solomon is the toast of the city of Leeds after scoring a dramatic stoppage-time goal that saw Daniel Farke’s side secure the Championship title ahead of Burnley in what was a final day full of drama in English football’s second tier.
All eyes were on the playoff race and on the race for the title, which both went into the final day of the season in the Championship.
Burnley overcame Millwall 3-1 at home, which was enough to see them get to 100 points and for the majority of the afternoon, it looked like Scott Parker’s men were going to clinch the title.
This was because Leeds, who were ahead of the Clarets on goal difference ahead of today’s game, were being held to a 1-1 draw at Plymouth Argyle going into stoppage time. Step up, Manor Solomon.

With the clock counting down, Solomon picked up the ball in the half-space on the left and drove into the box before curling an effort into the bottom corner past the goalkeeper.
That led to pandemonium at the away end in the Home Park Stadium as Leeds fans exploded with delight when the ball hit the net, with the moment not being too dissimilar to the Sergio Aguero one for Manchester City in 2012.

This strike means that the on-loan Tottenham winger finishes the campaign with 10 goals and 12 assists in 39 Championship outings, a formidable tally, which likely means that he is going to have plenty of suitors this summer.
Is Solomon set for a permanent transfer to Leeds?
Over recent weeks, it has been widely reported that Leeds are now keen on signing Solomon permanently this summer, and one would imagine that this goal would only make the Yorkshire club even more determined to land the winger.
However, it has also been revealed that the Israeli international is also on the radar of other English sides, with Southampton and Everton thought to be admirers of Solomon.
The same update suggested that the 25-year-old is valued by Tottenham Hotspur at £15m but after his strong finish to the season, the North London club may be hoping to collect upward of £25m for the wide-man.
