“I’m excited to announce Reily is rejoining our program as a full-time staff member,” Elliott said. “While she was our volunteer coach in 2019, she made such a big impact with everyone associated in this program. She is a quality human that puts a huge emphasis on connecting and being a part of the community. She will be a great role model for our players as a coach and as a mentor. We are excited to have her part of our program.”
With Buechler Canter on staff, the Longhorns won the 2019 and 2020 Big 12 Conference Championships. The 2019 team earned the No. 2 national seed in the NCAA Tournament and finished with a 23-4 overall record.

“I am absolutely thrilled to continue my coaching career back at the University of Texas,” said Buechler Canter. “It’s a true honor to represent the Texas Volleyball program, especially following the incredible success over the past two seasons. I’m eager to contribute to the winning culture of this program and collaborate with our exceptional staff to aim for another National Championship this season. Thank you to Jerritt and the entire Texas staff for making me feel like I am being welcomed home. Hook ‘Em!”
