Tottenham transfer: Postecoglou closes in on new striker deal

Additionally, Tottenham has been linked to Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez, who has netted 15 goals this season. However, financial constraints may hinder this pursuit, as Feyenoord’s valuation of £40 million exceeds Tottenham’s current budget of £30 million for a new striker.

 

Manager Postecoglou has emphasized the urgency of strengthening the squad, stating that the team is “playing with fire” if new signings are not secured during the January transfer window.

 

In terms of departures, Timo Werner is reportedly in talks with MLS side New York Red Bulls regarding an immediate exit from Tottenham.
